I FAIL AT LIFE.
Very belated news: Sunny was adopted over Memorial Day weekend! We had her for five weeks, dealing with not only kennel cough but round worm and a couple ticks. While it was HARD work, harder than I ever realized it would be, it was so rewarding. ...I can't wait for school to start again so that another foster dog can come into my life. Hopefully I'll be more diligent about blogging...
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteFostering is harder than it sounds, isn't it? When people say "saying goodbye must be the hardest part" I think, no! We just got through the hardest part. The clean up, the social experiments, the training...
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh man, fostering is WAY, WAY harder than it sounds. Training, exercising, getting up early to let them do their business, not staying out all day/going somewhere where a dog can't be taken...It definitely limits/limited our activities to a large degree (we couldn't leave her alone in the house un-crated, and we couldn't leave her crated all day).
Yup, I would definitely agree that saying goodbye was not the hardest part, haha. Sad, but happy and satisfying at the same time.
